I have moved this thread over to the installation and licencing forum as we think that seeing as there are so many of you all with educational licences it must be related to licensing. Also since you are all using up to date graphics drivers and running as admin it is unlikely hardware or software. Also, when you install CFD Ultimate you will be prompted you install Fusion if not installed already on the device it offers migrated SimStudio Tools. Maybe that can provide us with some insight. Previous CFD installations seem to be another common thread in this problem. Try run the software in 30 days trial mode: if it starts without issues, then the problem is related to the student license.

When I follow the instructions to remove the license and start CFD again, a licensing application window pops up saying to wait while the license is being verified.
I then receive an email with my license information, followed by CFD quitting. I am not sure what do you mean by using “Windows Utilities”. There are no critical errors in logs and I am not going to start hacking through registry files. As I said, the only application that is failing to run, and evidently has a valid license, is CFD As a fallback it would be great if you could point me to the CFD installation files. I had to uninstall it to make space for CFD I listed those solutions because we have several members with this issue on this post, sorry if it was confusing I didn’t mean to do that. I am also using a free education license.
I have never used a previous version of CFD so I cannot download or install versions prior to I am not sure what you mean by “Free Software” and “Scroll down” and “appearing within h”. What I did manage to do was look up my licenses under the Autodesk account and download CFD from there. I installed it again and it runs.

I was able to get the CFDconfig file to run once as admin during one of the installs but have not succeeded since then.
I am running an educators license on iU 2. I know is not a simulation computer, but the software should still open. I have not tried installing on my Desktop yet which has a much better GPU but older processor, but hope to try sometime this weekend.
